Cilacap

Cilacap is the capital city of Cilacap Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. Cilacap City is a former Administrative City, since the implementation of regional autonomy, the Administrative City of Cilacap was abolished and merged into the parent area of Cilacap Regency. Cilacap City has 3 sub-districts, namely North Cilacap District, Central Cilacap District, and South Cilacap District.

Cilacap City is a city as well as an industrial center in southern Central Java. Companies that are established in Cilacap include PT. Pertamina (Oil), PT. SBI (Cement), PLTU Karangkandri, PLTU Adipala, and many other companies in the Cilacap Industrial Estate. To support it as an industrial city, Cilacap has many hotels such as @Hom Hotel, Azana Asia Hotel, Dafam Hotel, Sindoro Hotel, Whiz Prime Hotel, Fave Hotel, Atrium Hotel, and NS Hotel.

Cilacap City is a city that has the most complete transportation from land, sea, to air, including Cilacap Railway Station, Cilacap Bus Terminal, Cilacap Tanjung Intan Port, and Cilacap Tunggul Wulung Airport. The center of the economy and trade is in Pasar Gede, the largest traditional market in Cilacap Regency, besides that there are Borobudur Department Stores, RITA Department Stores, Sami Laris Swalayan, and plans to build a mall, namely Citimall Cilacap. Cilacap City also has many restaurants with national brands, such as KFC, Pizza Hut, and plans to build a McDonald's.
